AC/DC Announces European/U.K. Tour with New Touring Lineup

Legendary rock band AC/DC is set to electrify stages across Europe and the U.K. this summer with their highly anticipated tour. With 21 stops scheduled, the band will criss-cross the European Union and the U.K., bringing their iconic sound to fans in some of the continent’s most iconic cities.

The tour is slated to kick off with two explosive performances in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on May 17, promising an unforgettable start to the summer concert season. The excitement will build as AC/DC makes their way through Europe, with stops in major cities including Paris, Rome, Madrid, and London, among others. Each city will host two AC/DC shows, ensuring that fans have ample opportunity to experience the band’s legendary performances.

The tour will culminate in Dublin, Ireland on August 17, where AC/DC will bring their epic journey to a close with a final, unforgettable performance. Throughout the tour, fans can expect nothing less than the high-octane energy and electrifying performances that have become synonymous with AC/DC’s live shows.

While the tour will feature AC/DC’s signature sound and classic hits, fans should be aware that the lineup has undergone some changes. Vocalist Brian Johnson and guitarist Angus Young are the sole original members set to perform on this tour. Filling in for drummer Phil Rudd will be Matt Laug, who previously stepped in for the band’s live commitment at the Power Trip Festival. Joining the lineup on bass guitar will be Chris Chaney, known for his work with Jane’s Addiction, who will be taking over Cliff Williams’ role. Additionally, Stevie Young will continue to hold the rhythm guitar position, filling in for his uncle Malcolm Young, who tragically passed away in 2017.

Despite the changes, AC/DC fans can rest assured that the band’s electrifying performances and iconic sound will remain as powerful as ever. With a lineup of talented musicians ready to rock the stage, the European/U.K. tour promises to be an unforgettable experience for fans old and new alike.

As fans eagerly await the arrival of summer, anticipation is building for AC/DC’s highly anticipated tour.
