The Metal Injection Festival is back, bigger and better than ever, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Metal Injection with a spectacular lineup and exclusive performances. Set to take place in New York at Brooklyn Monarch & Meadows on September 21 and 22, this year’s festival promises an unforgettable experience for metal enthusiasts. A Stellar Lineup Headlining the festival are recently-reunited metalcore legends God Forbid, who will be performing their seminal album Gone Forever in its entirety for the first time. This performance marks a significant moment for fans, providing a nostalgic yet electrifying experience.
Another exciting reunion is 3 Inches of Blood, returning to the East Coast stage for the first time in over a decade. Their high-energy performance is sure to be a highlight, bringing their unique blend of power metal and traditional heavy metal to eager fans.
Adding to the excitement is the world debut of Pallid Veil, a project that features an all-star lineup including Luc Lemay of Gorguts, Dave Davidson of Revocation, Liam Wilson of The Dillinger Escape Plan and In Flames, and Elliot Hoffman of Carbomb. This commissioned performance promises to be a unique and groundbreaking experience, blending the diverse styles and expertise of these renowned musicians.
Fans of more intimate performances will be thrilled by a special acoustic set from Stephen Brodsky and Adam McGrath of Cave In. Their acoustic renditions will offer a different, yet equally compelling, musical experience. Diverse Musical Offerings with 31 bands spread across 3 stages over 2 days, the Metal Injection Festival covers a wide spectrum of rock and metal genres. Attendees can expect a thrilling journey through death metal, djent, metalcore, hardcore, doom, gothic metal, thrash, industrial, slam, and more. The festival’s diversity ensures there’s something for every metalhead, from the most brutal death metal to the most melodic gothic tunes.
Supporting a Noble Cause. In addition to celebrating music, the festival also supports a good cause. For every ticket sold, $1 will be donated to Headbang for Science, an annual scholarship award for high school seniors, undergrads, and grad students pursuing careers in healthcare and the physical sciences. Founded by SiriusXM curator/host and former pharmacy grad student Jose “Metal Ambassador” Mangin in 2021, this scholarship foundation directly provides financial aid to “Metalheads” who are making a difference in the scientific community.
Join us for an extraordinary weekend of music, camaraderie, and celebration at the Metal Injection Festival. Whether you’re there to witness historic reunions, discover new music, or support a noble cause, this festival promises to deliver an unparalleled experience for metal fans.
Mark your calendars for September 21 and 22 and get ready to headbang, mosh, and celebrate 20 years of Metal Injection in the heart of Brooklyn. This is one festival you won’t want to miss!
